An upbeat riff drives a so-so verse with pretty bad lyrics. The pre-chorus is a little better, but the chorus is poorly phrased and has weirdly sweet vocal harmonies that don’t work for me. The dueling solo section is solid, though.
This song has a few appealing parts, but mostly fails to launch. 5/10 (2 stars).
