I don’t think there’s anything truly special about this song. It’s quite simple with verse, chorus, verse, chorus, two guitar solos and another chorus. But it’s really good and fits the overall atmosphere of the album. A solid song maybe? The guitar/bass melody in the chorus is particularly nice, as is Bruce’s performance in the chorus. Well, overall.

Adrian gets a good solo spot with the verse as its background. That is well suited for him and his little licks. I’m even hearing slight Somewhere in Time vibes in his solo, which can not be a bad thing in any conditions.

I guess the song is a testimony to the generally very high level of songwriting on this album. While it’s not my favorite TCW song by any standard, four stars are an easy choice.
